Sanders Campaign Plans NY Push For Party Disunity

A March 27 article in the Washington Post outlines planned attacks against Hillary Clinton in New York by the Sanders campaign in an apparent attempt to prevent party unity. Sanders campaign officials have commissioned polls to identify the issues that most divide potential Democratic voters. Neuroscientist Sam Wang who correctly predicted the popular and electoral vote tallies in the 2012 presidential election puts the probability of a Sanders nomination at 5%. Wang adds, however, that the slog could last unti June 17th when seven states, including California, hold their primary contests. Although there are few recent New York Democratic primary polls available, the RealClearPolitics poll aggregator shows a href="http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/ny/new_york_democ...">Clinton currently leading by an average of nearly 35%.l
